Job Overview

KEY PERFORMANCE OUTPUTS

The Sales & Marketing Assistant is responsible for overseeing a variety of sales & marketing administrative activities.

The responsibilities include the following but are not exhaustive:

Responsibility

MBO 1: Sales

  • Monthly preparation of sales dashboards
  • Co-ordinate the collection of sales activities nationally
  • Preparation of sales commission claims for the division in line with the sales policy
  • Compile and distribute updated sales price lists, commission policies, sales results, divisional communication, and any other divisional reports according to deadlines
  • Monitoring of CRM execution within the Division
  • Maintain and oversee the online trading sales system for Division
  • Oversee the online portals and ensure that they are up to date with the latest information and from time to time ensure that marketing material is uploaded when required
  • Co-ordinate, collate and track national sales/ tender activity
  • Collate the Sales & Marketing Manager’s report for EXCO into a final draft.
  • When required, research and collate market information for presentations required for EXCO
  • Identify and research areas around the sales reporting to identify solutions for improvement and implement new processes
  • Regional training of completion of CRM, sales reporting, sales policies and pricing structures.

MBO 2: Marketing

  • Coordinate and maintain promotional
  • Manage regulatory approval
  • Coordinate and/or maintain new product launch
  • Managed healthcare liaison
  • Manage divisional marketing initiatives, as and where applicable

 

MBO 3: Customer Relations

  • Ensure healthy relationship with current and potential
  • Assist with product
  • Maintain good relations and communication with internal customers e. Customer Services, Finance department, Logistics and management.

 

Responsibility 2 : Administrative Duties:

MBO 1: Administrative

  • Maintain supplier information, price lists, promotional material and technical
  • Maintain customer
  • Prepare quotes and assist sales
  • Manage and coordinate divisional meetings, functions, academic programmes and conference
  • Presentation preparation, when
  • Adhere to credit policies and procedures
  • Maintain all administrative responsibilities

 

MBO 2: Reports

  • At month-end, a list of all quotations issued in the current month is prepared and distributed to management and the sales Hard copies of quotations are filed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Administration Diploma/ Degree
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar role
  • Strong general computer literacy with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook and Access

TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Good typing skills
  • Business English
  • Telephone skills
