Job Overview

Our client seeks a young and dynamic, multi-skilled Internal Sales Consultant to operate in their Johannesburg office. The purpose of this role is to sell Company Secretarial (CoSec), Governance Advisory and Finance Management services to enterprise.

Core Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Undertaking sales activities
  • Assist in developing the company sales strategy and implementation thereof
  • Conducting research to boost the company marketing and sales strategy
  • Reporting regularly to management and board
  • Maintaining the company customer database and CRM
  • Concluding customer contracts and tracking thereof

  • Following up on tenders and proposals
  • Regular communication with clients

  • Identifying tender opportunities
  • Tender documentation and process
  • Accurately preparing tender documents
  • Preparing proposals, calculating pricing and preparing quotations for tender process
  • Collating all support documents
  • Compiling final submissions and timeous submission of proposals and supporting documents
  • CRM and reporting, and ensuring that the CRM remains up to date
  • Weekly reporting to the MD on the status of leads and opportunities

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Degree/diploma in marketing, sales, or general business
  • Experience in sales of professional services is preferred
  • 4 to 6 years sales experience in CoSec,, Governance and/ or business services
  • BluWave CRM program
  • Sales training
  • CGISA qualification or governance experience is advantageous
  • Experience in tender process
